About ME & Antique Jewlery

Now I reflect on how I started curating antique jewelry, it felt like a natural extension from my interest in Art History. I first studied Art History in high school, then continued that interest till now. It taught me to look at art pieces closely - not just at beauty, but at how genres, colors, materials, techniques, and symbolism reflect the history of their time.

I still remember vividly the piece that first drew me into antique jewelry. It was a Victorian mourning ring, beautifully sculpted in gold with natural pearls, a Forget-me-not flower motif in black and white cameo, and a hidden engraving inside the band. I remember being moved by how a piece of jewelry could hold so much love, memory, and meaning, and still carry it more than a century later. That is what I love most about antique jewelry. These pieces are works of art to me - objects shaped by history, craftsmanship, and deeply personal stories and emotions.
 

As for what I collect, I would say I'm most specialized in and obsessed with antique rings, but I generally collect any pieces that truly speak to my aesthetics and elicit emotions in me, regardless of categories. Pieces I've curated spanned across Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco periods.

This shop began as a small passion project alongside my somewhat busy day job, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported it and shared in my love for these pieces 💗
